2023We recorded this album in Columbia Falls at my little apartment studio I was then calling, Big Sky Sound Lab. We tracked his acoustic demos out, his internal timing is flawless by the way, it was maybe 2-3 takes, and we were good on demos. Then I built drums and a digital band around the song, tried to help break the arrangement up for him, but well written tracks need little work. Once we got the track built to our liking, we went back and retracked his guitar and vocals to the finished product. I believe we were both happy with it at the time, later on, while playing with him in a band, The Stillwaters, we performed the songs in more of his originally written feel, and it worked so much better lol. We even shot a music video for This Old Guitar, that I shot and edited. It turned out alright I'd say. Hell of a time working with Bryant, and he's a great guy as well. Wish them the best!
